HOW TO PLACE A CALL

1.        Dial the WorldPhone access number for the country you are in.

2.        Dial the card number.

3.        Dial the number you wish to reach or wait for the MCI operator to complete the call.

For all other countries

Countries that allow calling within the country and between countries are indicated with (CC).  Restrictions may apply to the countries to which calls are placed.

 

More than one call?

To place another call, DO NOT HANG UP.

·          Press # for 2 seconds (listen for tone).

·          Dial the number you are calling or the * feature.

 

Calling a U.S. toll-free number?

Follow the dialing instructions and enter the toll free number as 0 + 800 or 0 + 888 or 0 + 877.

 

Need Directory Assistance?

After entering your card number, wait for an operator to come on the line.  Ask the MCI  operator to look up the domestic or international number for you.

 

 

 

Calling from a hotel?

Ask the hotel operator about hotel-added surcharges and how to dial from your room.

 

Many hotels do not assess charges when you are using a calling card.  Using payphones also eliminates hotel charges.

 

Need customer service?

Dial the WorldPhone access number and enter your card number.  Wait for an operator and request customer service.  If you are having problems accessing WorldPhone, contact the local operator and place a collect call to the Customer Service number on the back of this card.

Want to make a PC connection?

Determine what must be dialed to get an outside line from the hotel or business and add that to the beginning of your PC software dial string, then add the access number followed by: …9#[CardNumber]#PhoneNumber#

 

Increase the number of commas to compensate for a longer post-dial delay.
